I think I just got Voodoo-ed by Sony again. Sony Cybershot DSC-TX5!! Damn it!!

• 10.2 Megapixels (same as my DSLR-A100)
• Carl Zeiss lens!!
• Waterproof!! (Swimming pool-able!!)
• Shockproof! Dustproof! Freeze-proof!!
• "Exmor R" CMOS sensor! (low-light shots)
• And of course, Memory Stick Pro Duo! (I have plenty! Thanks to DSLR, PSP, SE phone (s)..)

Sleek design, compact (94.0mm x 56.9mm x 17.7mm), lightweight (144g) – compared to my A100++..3” LCD viewer!! Oh gosh…


However, a wee-bit concern on

• 4X optical zoom – not sure how it works..seems impossible for the lens to zoom physically..
• Touch-screen –my concern is on the battery consumption.
• Slightly ‘low’ specs – compared to Panasonic FT1 and Olympus Tough 3000
