Not easy to get the all of us in a frame especially with "camera-shy" Umayr. Anyway this picture was taken by Wan, UitM. Her setting was ISO3200, tu yang banyak noise sikit. Ah! 'noisy' ke tidak, dah besar rahmat dah dapat ni. Thanks Wan!

Anas didakapan sambil mendendangkan nukilan Butterfly dari Jason Mraz. Terbeliak je mata dia!

Good morning world!

No, aku ambil half day hari ni, Sekejap lagi nak kena hantar Anas ke ASC. Semalam jaundice naik to 253. Doc kata boleh balik lagi, teruskan breast feed, and see how it goes. Harap-harap semua ok lah.. Oh reminder to self, level demam kuning adalah seperti berikut:

• 130 below – cantik!
• 250 above – kuning (kalau government hospital, kalau cecah 250 je kena terus bagi cahaya ‘keimanan’ (uv Ray).

So far Umayr has been a very very good boy! Bila jumpa Anas je, dengan penuh berhati-hati dan slow-mo dia kiss sang adik. Tak larat dah daddy nak ambil gambar moment tu. Anyway the pic below ni gambar first dia jumpa Anas di rumah. Priceless.. Kekalkan macam ni ye Umayr..

Having 2 children under my belt makes me feel so old. I know I shouldn’t feel like that but man..tak tahu lah..Since the birth of Anas also, I somehow have lost the feel nak “ber-handsome-handsome-an” ni. For example, the other day I clad only in an over-sized tee and a sarong ke warung untuk yamcha. Sungguh tak menarik..Anyway I hope all this are temporary..(*mengenggam erat sambil menunding jari ke langit )Semoga aku kembali menjadi hero remaja!!! (*echo 2X)

Ok..nak pergi hospital dah..semoga kuranglah kuning kau Anas…

Cara saya mencuci uri

Ini adalah cara saya mencuci uri Anas. Atas guidance Encik Rassul, jiran yang baru mendapat anak ketiganya, Ali awal 2 minggu lepas.

1. Air diisi di dalam besen


2. Garam ditaburkan ke dalam besen; secukup rasa


3. Asam keping sepeket dimasukkan untuk nyah bau dan hanyir


4. Bagi yang tidak pernah melihat uri, inilah dia..Fresh from the farm. Alhamdulillah 'adik' Anas ni still intact, kulit halus tak koyak, so taklah bloody sangat. Rendam dan cuci uri secara manja sehingga ia jadi putih bersih. Dalam masa mencuci tu, berselawatlah, kalau nak berdoa, bacalah doa apa yang patut..masa membersikan tu beringatlah betapa hebatnya ciptaan Tuhan.


5. Setelah yakin bersih, balut kan ia bersama kain putih.


6. Sebelum ditanam, kita perlu korekkan lubangnya dahulu yaa..tips di sini, gunakanlah cangkul, seeloknya kalau tengah musim panas macam semalam, carilah sesiapa untuk memayungi pencangkul.

Masa ni berniat dan bacalah apa yang patut. Aku baca al-Fatihah, Selawat dll..masa ni feeling dia macam di liang lahad.


7. Sadaqallahulazim..

The Arrival 2

9:06 pm - Izza's back pain worsen, off to Amanjaya Specialist. Detour to Starbucks to get her blendeds and i ran to Tesco to buy air Zam Zam(RM12!!!) - kurma je tak dapat lagi . Sempat curi-curi ambil gambar family last bertiga...

10:00 pm - still 4 cm (since Sunday!)heartbeat ok, contraction every 20-30 min..
- checked in room 11

11:30 pm - mom & dad bawa balik Umayr.

midnight-ish - layan The Showdown 2010 on 8TV..not bad lah our dancers..

2:30 am - izza tidur

6:20 am - nurses came, checked bp and stuff..

7:10 am - breakfast(milo and bread).. labour room at 8

8:00 am - as planned, Izza entered the labour room. induced.

8:15 am - still ok, gelak-gelak lagi. nurse increased the number on the IV machine..not sure how it works but supposedly to make izza sakit...well in a good way..that is why they call it 'induce'..

8:30 am - increased to 30, and few nurses seems to be amazed that Izza has yet to feel the pain..

9:00 am - Nurse Mega increased the number again and asked me to go and have breakfast. Looking at izza's condition, she said labour time should be around 11 not more than 12. Reluctant, but she managed to make me leave the room. So i took a quick bath and went downstairs to have nasi lemak and teh tarik.

9:30 am - Izza called.
izza: "where are you?"
me: " tengah makan..time dah ke?"
izza: "uhuh?!.."

"kak, tolong kira kak..cepat sikit ye, orang rumah nak bersalin dah tu...!"

9:40 am - Izza dah sakit. It seems that the contractions started as soon as i left the room tadi..
tangan pun dah mula genggam kuat dah..

9:45 am - air mata aku dah mula berat ..tapi aku tahan jugak.."istighfar yang, istighfar yang.." kesakitan yang Izza alami masa tu hanya dia dan Allah je yang tahu. "yaaang, sakiiit..." again i felt useless..guilty.."Ya Allah..kenapalah aku tak pakai protection??" serious dude..aku dah sampai ke situ dah

9:53 am - " Call in the doctor..!" And the nurses took out all the 'gadgets' from under the bed, in a second katil dah jadi setengah. Doc Tan came in with a syringe, isi syringe tu dengan ubat..aku tengok pun dah seram! so i turned to Izza and whispered " Astagafirullah al azim al lazi lailahailla huwal hayyul qayyummu wa atuh bu ilaik..banyak-banyak kali..

10:03 am - "push!!..puuuuuuuush!.." Izza mengerang kesakitan..berjujuran air mata dia sambil meneran..aku hanya mampu membiarkan tangan kanan digenggam kuat sambil tangan kiri membelai rambut.."sedikit lagi yang..sedikit lagi.."

"Come on girl! Puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuush!.."

10:09 am, February 16th,2011- Ihm@ Anas Bin Sharel was born.

4 CM

1 cm - Why do they measure in CM? We normally use MM for drawings, at times, architects/cabinet makers use Inch/feet..Why CM?

2 cm -How do they measure and ruled out with an exact measurement? How accurate is the reading? Did they stick a ruler in it?

3 cm - Yesterday, We paid a visit to the Doc and he said, “history has repeated itself...4 cm! But you can go home, pick a date..” huh? Yes, the door has opened! 4cm wide! But we’re still at home, taking things at easy breezy mode…

4cm – Realized that I just shared my wife’s VJJ (the 4 cm story) to the whole world! Started yesterday with both our parents ( I assume they must’ve spread the word to the other families), then we shared with our neighbours and today at Maybank while waiting for my number to be called, I shared the news to an unknown kakak.. and she was like “uhuh~..” Come to think about it, the feeling is like a wife telling neighbours the size of her husband’s Coney Dog.. W-e-i-r-d..

Anyway, like today’s FB status, I’m Super Excited!

Umayr will be 1 year 5 next Thursday. Coincidently, gigi dia pun baru tumbuh 5!
